1 Pet 5 : 10
"And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast"
"After you have suffered"
God has promised us a life of glory but what most of us miss is that He never promised a stress free life. Rather He has informed us that there will be challenges, there will be suffering ,but this is for a little while. There will be things that will happen in your lives that we are not happy with, things that we cry about, things that to us; make us suffer. But the Good news is , this will not last forever, it is just for a little season.
"The God of all Grace"
The God we serve, The King of Kings is the God of all grace and not just some grace. What this means is that He has all grace available for all the struggles we are going through but yet He allows us to go through the mills. We need to trust that the fact that He is not intervening now doesn't mean He can't. Keep believing and trusting-Grace will be certainly available for that challenge.
"Will He Himself Restore"
This is our assurance and greatest news that keeps us going- That God Himself will restore when the time is due. He will definitely do it ,- just trust him ,and understand that the season of struggling is just but for a little while.
"Dear Lord Jesus, help me trust you in my season of my struggle, I will keep believing you and anticipate your full restoration, Amen"
